my so called break
finally! the end of of my mid yrs. just hope for the best. anyway.. right after my maths. went town to watch lost war of the worlds with esmond and alv. hmm... how to describe it.. call it massive human race extermination with a tinge cruel human nature manifestation and sprinkle of mind blowing effects. yeah.. good. after which.. esmond came over to stay for the night and watched mr and mrs smith and naruto. haha.. he's trying to introduce me to the world of naruto. we shall see.
anyway.. trying to recollect everything that has happened this june break is like trying to vomit out your lunch and find out what you ate. ok.. bad analogy. anyway.. my point is that loads of things happened (and that i've a poor memory). but then.. have to say that it was a God blessed one. i'm really in a lazy mood now. so i'll let the pictures do the talking.
there was the japan trip with my family. tokyo.
dad and mumaunt linda and baofeng jie

darien and mr bad boy japan was a real eye opener for me. a lot caught my eye..
the bustling city life
the glorious food

rustic and historic beauty

God-given sceneries
BUT the one thing in japan that REALLY REALLY got my attention.. was... no james.. not the girls.. but the TECHNOLOGY!!
let me explain.
TECHNOLOGY EXAMPLE 1lets say.. something as simple as ordering a dish at the food court. in s'pore.. its shouting your order out then wait till some guy comes over to give you your dish then you pay for it. in japan.... its way different. WAY diff. welcome to the japanese version of a food court. (this might serve as an idiot's guide too)

1) take your whatever notes you have and change them into coins with this money changer

2) choose the (prettiest) dish you want

3) insert coins to pre-pay for your choice of dish to get a prepaid card

4) this is the cool part. you give the stall vendor the card. and he will give you this cool beeper in exchange. with this ultra cool pager. you can go back to your sitting or even resume your shopping. when is starts beeping... it means your food is ready for collection.

5) eat, eat and eat!
TECHNOLOGY EXAMPLE 2

sigh.. enough said.
TECHNOLOGY EXAMPLE 3
ok.. this one.. i was very reluctant to blog about. hope not many would read it. anyway.. i was extremely fascinated by this alien toilet bowl as you can see. my first reaction was "wow.. so many buttons." then of course.. my first though was.. "must try it out." so without actually needing to use to toilet.. i just pressed around. but nothing worked. so after a while i found out that it can only be activated when you sit on it. so being the smart guy.. i tried putting one knee on it. so my face was facing the bowl so i could check out all the 'action'. the thing is that i havent really seen such stuff before. so i just pressed everything. just happened that when i pressed the God-knows-what blue button.. this cool tube came out of no where and squirted water right in my face! no to mention with high pressure coz i unknowingly jacked it up to the highest pressure. i was shocked, blinded and depeserate to find the stop button. but i was drenched by the time i did. my mom thought i tried taking a shower with my clothes on. yeah.. i didn't bother to try the rest of the buttons.
so thats my adventure with the attacking techy toilet bowl.

oh.. and i'm really glad about some email i recieved not long ago. it's amazing how God allows the life stories you share to impact the lives of others in a good way. it might be in an instant or over a long period of time. sharing can really go a long way if you bother to do so. .. and it is true that it takes the losing of someone in our life to create the difference. extremely exceedingly toturously painful but true.
